• The arguments for breastfeeding in terms of health are already won, but breastfeeding statistics remain impossibly low in the UK. How can this be? Because the barriers to breastfeeding are cultural, not medical but the majority of information about breastfeeding comes from the medical community.   • Les Recontres d”Arles is grande. Much more than I realised. Most of the work is documentary or editorial. This is of a very quality. There are also some scattered shows of a more experimental nature:  Masahisa Fukase, Audrey Tatou, David Fahi, Roger Ballen, and a fantastic survey show of surrealism and its influences.

    Thoughts on Arles
    Les Recontres d”Arles is grande. Much more than I realised. Most of the work is documentary or editorial. This is of a very quality. There are also some scattered shows of a more experimental nature: Masahisa Fukase, Audrey Tatou, David Fahi, Roger Ballen, and a fantastic survey show of surrealism and its influences.
  • For anyone who has spent time in hospitals as a patient, visitor or healthcare professional, it is clear that good art enhances not only the immediate environment but also contributes not only to patients mental well-being but also their recovery rates.

The female body has been claimed, staked out for centuries; from the first chapter of the bible it is defined as that which is corrupted and corrupting.
